Jose Martin Cruz April 3, 1966 ~ August 25, 2016 Jose Martin Cruz, 50, of Angleton, Texas arrived safely home with our Lord on August 25, 2016, Jose was born April 3, 1966 in Cerritos San Luis Potosi, Mexico to Margarito and Elia Cruz. He was a good son, a playful big brother to his five siblings, an empathetic friend, and a loving father to his two children. From a young age, he embraced life with a vitality he gave to everyone he met in his life, always putting his faith above fear. During his life, he enjoyed playing soccer, fisihing, playing golf, cooking and taking photos. He was an Atros, Oilers, and Texans fan and not so much a fan of the Cowboys. He was intelligent, comical, joyful, kind, and a devout follower of God. Left to cherish his memory are his children Amaris and Cristian Cruz; Parents Margarito and Elia Cruz; Brothers Luis Cruz and Margarito Cruz, Jr. and wife Laura; Sisters Silvia Hocutt and husband Robert, Esperanza Luna, and Maria Silva and husband Quirino. A visitation will be held Friday, September 2, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a rosary service starting at 7:00 p.m at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church located at 1713 N. Tinsley Angleton, Texas 77515. Funeral service will be Saturday, September 3, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at the church. Services lovingly fulfilled by the dedicated staff at Palms Funeral Home.
