Francis George Fief Francis George Fief, 91, of Danbury passed away Saturday October 22, 2016 in Angleton. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday October 28, 2016 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Danbury. Burial will follow in St. Anthony’s Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday October 27, 2016 from 5-7 pm with Rosary starting at 7:00. Francis was born June 27, 1925 in Wadsworth, Texas to Meddie P & Ella Bonneau Fief. He was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church and 3rd Degree Member of Danbury Knights of Columbus. Francis married Betty Glyn Kettler on November 29, 1947 in Danbury. He retired from Dow Chemical in 1982 after 38 years of service. Francis was an avid gardener and loved playing dominoes with his domino group. He is preceded in death by his parents, a sister; Lucille Dannhaus & brother Leo Fief. Survivors include his wife of 69 years, Betty of Danbury Children; George Fief, James Fief & Robert Fief all of Danbury & Joyce Fief Campbell & husband Lee of Livingston. Sister; Betty Jo Ritz and husband Emil of Danbury, Sister-In-Law Teenie Fief, 2 Grandchildren; Marlee Trahan & husband Kennie of Kingwood & Caylee Evans & husband Curtis of Livingston and Great-Grandchild; Kenlee Trahan of Kingwood as well as numerous other family, friends & Garden Customers. Pallbearers will be George, James & Robert Fief, Lee Campbell, Kennie Trahan & Curtis Evans. Honorary Pallbearer is Joyce Fief Campbell. In Lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to The Danbury Knights of Columbus (PO Box 299, Danbury, TX 77534).
