Donna Goodrum Obituary

Donna J. Frost-Goodrum October 9, 1933 ~ August 29, 2016 Mom left her earthly body and entered her celestial being August 29, 2016. She was born to Harley Frost and Laura Jerrelle on October 09, 1933, in Vassar, Michigan. My mother was born born the 5th child out of eleven children. Donna married her first husband (my father) Charles G. Kinder (deceased), August 21, 1948, in Frankfurt, KY. One child was born of this marriage myself Shelly D. Kinder-Marshall (spouse, steven Marshall). Mom had two grandchildren Monica L. Bush (spouse, Roy Biran) and Brandon H. Bush (fiancée, Vanessa Bankston). My mom was loved by her many nephews and nieces. She used to love to tease the kids. She will be missed by her sisters; Nina Scott, Mona Lowe and Betty Chapman. The rest of her sisters and brothers are now deceased as well as her parents. Mother later married Billy Goodrum (deceased) in Alvin, TX on June 22, 1984, and we had a loving and wonderful blended family. She gained more children Kathy Petersen (friend, Ray Rodriquez), Susan Savahi (spouse, Fred Savahi) and Russ Goodrum. That meant she gained more grandchildren who she loved and grew very close with throughout the years. Then the grandchildren gave she and Bill a few great-grandchildren the she loved. Serving as pallbearers will be; Brandon Bush, Russell Goodrum, Ray Rodriquez, Brent Petersen, Michael Clayton and Steven Clayton. Personally, I want to thank the nurses and other staff at Country Village Care for all the love and support they gave my mother and myself throughout her time spent with them. A-Med also needs a special thank you too for all your help and understanding of my mother’s needs. In lieu of flowers you can make donation to Special Olympics of your choice in honor of Evelyn “pudge” Frost. My mother’s sister with Down’s Syndrome who participated in Special Olympics. I love you mom, rest in peace. Services lovingly fulfilled by the dedicated staff at Palms Funeral Home.
