Beaman Bradberry Angleton, Texas Obituary

Beaman Bradberry

Beaman J. Bradberry April 15, 1927 ~ September 12, 2016 Beaman J. Bradberry, 89, of Angleton, Texas went to be with our Lord and Savior on September 12, 2016. He was born April 15, 1927 to parents Edmon and Lela Gill Bradberry in the Denning Community, San Augustine County, Texas. Beaman lived life to the fullest. He came from a generation that is rapidly becoming extinct in this country. He left the farm at an early age to work in the shipyards, welding, during the WWII era. He then proudly served in the US Army as the war was coming to an end. He returned to the farm assisting his parents with their dairy business. In those days, if a neighbor had a hog to butcher and we milk, cheese, and bread; all had a meal. Beaman settled in Angleton, Texas where he raised his family. He worked a full tenure with Dow Chemical retiring in 1986. He was an avid gardener, traveler, hunter, and fisherman but above all a family man. He believed in sharing the fruits of his labor. In August, 1956 he married the love of his life, Winnie Taylor Bradberry. They were married 59 years before her passing March 10, 2016. Left to cherish their memory are sons; Clyde Everett Blackwell (Beverly), Terry A. Blackwell (Jane Hughson), and Timothy A. Bradberry (Callie). Beaman is survived by brother, Shirley Bradberry (Elaine) and sister, Wanda Loosier (Norman). Grandchildren; Darrell Blackwell, Brian Blackwell, and Lela Bradberry Siegel (Micheal). Great grandchildren; Hanna Elizabeth, Heath Taylor, and Hunter Megail Siegel. Sister-in-law, Lollie Taylor Harris (Don) and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Winnie Taylor Bradberry; siblings; Clayton Bradberry, Seaman Bradberry, Joe Bradberry and Marie Little; two grandchildren, Angela (Blackwell) Monclova and Richard Blackwell. Pallbearers will be Tim Bradberry, Micheal Siegel, Kelly Still, Steve Riggle, Benny Dunn, and Clint Rouse. The family will host a visitation Thursday, September 15th at Palms Funeral Home in Angleton from 6pm to 8pm. Services are to be held at Palms Funeral Home Friday, September 16th, 2016 at 2pm. Graveside services will follow immediately thereafter at Angleton Cemetery. We would like to offer our sincerest thanks to Dr. Lance Griffin, Dr. Zachary Griffith, and the rest of the staff at UTMB Jenny Sealy Intensive Care Unit for the remarkable care and time spent with the family. The attention and compassion shown has been beyond our expectations. Services lovingly fulfilled by the dedicated staff at Palms Funeral Home 2300 East Mulberry Angleton, Texas 77515 (979) 849-4343.
