William "Bill" Kitchen

William “Bill” Dale Kitchen, 69, formerly of Hawley, passed away Monday, August 22, 2016 at Camellia Gardens in Thomasville, Georgia with his family by his side. Graveside services will be held Thursday, August 25th at 10:00 a.m. in the Hawley Cemetery with Rufus Wilson officiating, under the direction of North’s Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m in North's Memorial Chapel, 242 Orange Street. Bill was born September 1, 1946, in Sapulpa, Oklahoma to John Dale and Mary Engels Kitchen. Bill graduated from Hamlin High School in 1964. He attended Cisco Junior College, and West Texas A&M, where he was a member of the Block and Bridle Club. Bill worked in oil field construction, and was owner of Oil Patch Pollution Services, Inc. He later worked for Southern Cal in California, Nevada, and Arizona. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his son, William Robert “Bob” Kitchen. Bill is survived by his daughter, Camille “Cammie” Anthony, stepson, Rodney Polk, eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and many friends.
