Obituary
Elnora Hazel Mizer, 94, of Abilene entered Heaven’s gates Friday April 8, 2016. She had been a resident of Coronado nursing home for the past 6 years. A Memorial Service will be held at 10am Friday April 29, in the Bethel Temple Christian Center at 3101 N. 12th St in Abilene. Pastor Barry Glover of Bethel Temple Christian Center and Chaplin Charles Goodnight from Kindred at Home Hospice will be officiating. Mrs. Mizer was born August 9, 1921 in Stroud, Oklahoma. Elnora was a nurse, LPN, for many years at both Hendrick Memorial Hospital and Sweetwater Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Bethel Temple Christian Center. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 55 years, Charles ‘Bob’ Mizer and her son Ronnie Mizer. She is survived by her daughter, Cindy Wilder of Fort Lauderdale, FL, a granddaughter Courtnye Nix of Fort Worth, TX, and Four great grandsons Brett Wilder, Bo Nix, Zachary Nix and JMichael Nix all of Fort Worth, TX. We will miss her dearly, but we give thanks to God for the gift of her life.
