Elbert Aubrey "Tommy" Forsythe, age 72 of Spencer, Tennessee passed from this life on Friday, July 22, 2016, at Saint Thomas Highlands Hospital in Sparta, Tennessee. Tommy was born Monday, February 28, 1944 in Spencer, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Elbert Forsythe and Evelyn Griffith Forsythe. Tommy is survived by his: wife - Ella Garrett Forsythe son - Danny Forsythe and wife Cynthia 3 sisters - Betty Walling Diana Allen Sandra Cole and husband Ray sister-in-law - Lucille Madewell granddaughter - Kaylana Forsythe many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends also survive. In addition to his parents, Tommy was preceded in death by a brother Larry Forsythe Funeral service will be at 2 PM on Monday at Spencer Funeral Home with Clayton Keener officiating. Interment will be in Spencer Town Cemetery, Spencer, TN. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Sunday, July 24, 2016, and again Monday from 8 AM to 2 PM at the Spencer Funeral Home, 16000 Hwy 111 N., Spencer, Tennessee.
