Leroy Asbury-age 67 of Maynardville, recently of Dryden, Virginia passed away Friday morning, August 26, 2016 at Abingdon Health and Rehabilitation. He was of the Baptist faith. Preceded in death by wife, Sandra Asbury; parents, Arthur Woodrow and Omia Beatrice (Wolard) Asbury; niece, Mary Rose Brown; nephew, Michael Wayne Brown. Survivors: sisters, Bea Brown and Mary Ruth Hobbs, both of Maynardville; nephews, Samuel Dewayne Hobbs, Terry Keller, Tony Brown, Donnie Brown; nieces, Sherry Keller Holt and Sandra Munsey. Several great-nieces and great-nephews. The family will receive friends 1-2 p.m. Sunday, August 28, 2016 with funeral services to follow at 2 p.m. Sunday, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Richard Nicley officiating with music by Linda Nicley. Interment to follow at Burch Cemetery, New Tazewell. Arrangement by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
