David L. Monroe-age 64 of Maryville passed away Friday morning, August 12, 2016 at Blount Memorial Hospital. He attended Fairview Baptist Church and was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force. He was a employee of Lowes in Maryville for 17 years. David was preceded in death by his parents: Carl and Juanita Needham Monroe. Survivors: wife, Tammy Monroe of Maryville; daughters, Valorie Keel and husband, Brandon of Murfreesboro; Shanna Johnson of Dandridge; step-children, Robby Ford and Brandon Ford, both of Maryville. Nine grandchildren, Brandon, Shane and Madison Keel, Brittaney and Jordon Johnson; Taylor, Robby, Riley and Mackinley Ford. Special aunts, Faye Munsey of Knoxville; Ann Bolden of Washburn. Several cousins and other family members and friends. The family will receive friends 12-1:30 p.m. Monday, August 15, 2016, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel. Graveside services will follow at 2 p.m. Monday, Booker-Needham Cemetery, Washburn, Rev. Jimmy Moore officiating. Pallbearers: Robby Ford, Jr., Robby Ford, III, Brandon Keel, Shane Keel, Johnny Janeway, Jimmy Munsey, Joey Janeway; Honorary Pallbearer: Jordon Johnson.
