George Franklin Raby, 76 of Sweetwater, passed away Monday, July 11, 2016. He is preceded in death by his parents, Boyd and Belle (Henderson) Raby; sisters, Barbara Jean Raby and Linda Melton. Survivors include wife, Barbara Ann Raby, of Sweetwater; daughters, Angela Raby and Alyssa Veysey, of Sweetwater and Tracy Raby, of Madisonville; two granddaughters, Shyann Gentry and Carissa Veysey; and many, many friends. Funeral services for Mr. Raby will be 7:00 pm, Wednesday, July 13, at New Macedonia Baptist Church, with Rev. Bill White and Robert Young officiating. Graveside service 10:00 am, Thursday, New Macedonia Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends 5:00 - 7:00 pm Wednesday, prior to the service, at the church.
