Ruth Sawyer Reese, age 80 of Franklin, TN passed away September 27, 2016. Preceded in death by parents, John & Dora Sawyer; sisters, Mary Alice Smithson, Martha Fiveash, Sara Heithcock & Lazinka Tansil; brothers, Jack & Dan Sawyer. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother & great-grandmother and is survived by her husband, Owen Reese; daughters, Nancy Reese Reed, Pam Reese & Stacie (Matt Wallin) Reese; sisters, Lois McCluskey & Polly White; grandchildren, Jenny (Scott) Massey, Allison Reed & Mattilyn Wallin; great-grandchildren, Owen & Logan Massey; best friend, Charlene Parsons. Funeral service will be 11:30AM Friday, September 30, 2016 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Jim Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
