Howard Douglas Nixon, age 88 of Franklin, TN passed away September 12, 2016. A very loving husband, father and grandfather. Longtime member of Two Rivers Baptist Church and Clearview Baptist Church. Member of the Empty Nesters Sunday School Class. Retired from E.I. DuPont. Preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Swann Nixon; parents, Earl & Roberta Nixon; brother, Charlie Nixon. Survived by daughters, Stephanie Lashley & Cindy (Mike) Psanos; grandchildren, Micah (Renee) Lashley, Heather (Phillip) Mayberry, Jacob Lashley, Chelsea Lashley, Brittany (Jordan) White & Brianna Psanos and seven great-grandchildren; sisters, Linda Parkhurst & Faye Swann.
