Gladys Vernell Holland Scott, age 93 of Franklin, TN , July 16, 2016. Born in Tishomingo County, Mississippi to the late W.T. & Maudie Massey Holland. Member of the Church of God of Prophecy in Columbia, TN. Preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Scott; son, Harold Scott; three brothers and five sisters. Survived by son, Ray (Nell) Scott; sisters, Donna Eversole and Dot Abbott; grandchildren, Lori (Keith) Crews, Steve (Heather) Scott, Lynea (Jeff) Wiginton, Suzi (Ricky) Bates, Amy (Juan) Padilla; fourteen great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 6-8PM Tuesday and 11AM-1PM Wednesday at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held 1:00PM Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Pastor Lawrence Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in Williamson Memorial Gardens.
