R.V. Boyd

R.V. Boyd, age 70 of Clarksville, passed away on Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at his home. A Celebration of Life will be 11 a.m. Monday, July 18, 2016 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Pastor Carl E. Livingston officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the hour of service. R.V. was born on August 20, 1945 in Hopkinsville, KY, the son of the late Charlie and Mary Elizabeth Boyd. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by son, Ray Walker and brothers, Charles James Boyd, Hugh Benny Boyd, and Isaac Boyd. R.V. attended Mt. Nebo Church. He had worked as a supervisor for Trane Company for 42 years and also worked as a club manager for Fort Campbell Main Event. He is survived by his daughter, Shontel R. Boyd-Smith and husband Kamar Smith; son, Robert Walker; sisters, Virginia Goodrun and Jean Boyd; 11 grandchildren, 8 nieces and 3 nephews. Online condolences may be made at NaveFuneralHomes.com.
