Roy Walter Bowen, age 52 of Big Rock, passed away on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at Tennova Healthcare. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 16, 2016 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Lone Oak Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9-11 a.m. Roy was born on October 1, 1963 in Montgomery County, the son of the late Jesse Earl Bowen and Dorothy Breeden Bowen Sandfer. He is survived by wife, Diane Bowen; brothers, Earl Wade (Janice) Bowen and Scottie (Melissa Hales) Bowen; sisters, Lisa (Ray) Cooper and Gloria (Floyd) Cooper.
