Dorothy M. Work, age 86, of Linden, died Wednesday, August 17, 2016. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, August 27, 2016 at Marion United Methodist Church, Cunningham, TN with the Rev. Thomas Wise officiating. Burial in Marion United Methodist Cemetery. Visitation will be held 12 noon until the hour of service Saturday, August 27, 2016 at the Marion United Methodist Church. McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Dorothy was born September 12, 1929 in Clarksville, TN, the daughter of Lee and Nora "Big Mama" (Trotter) Miller. She married Donald Work December 3, 1950 and he preceded her in death July 30, 2012. She retired from Ford Motor Company in 1986. Dorothy was the loving mother of Albert Work, Linda Lindsay, Mark (Donna) Work, Mike Work, and Alan Work. She is also survived by, 10 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren; brother, Joseph Miller; sister, Mary Chaffe; and several nieces and nephews.
