Linda Marie Davis Collins Hensley, went to be with her heavenly father on July 29th, 2016. Linda was the daughter of the late James T. and Alma Davis. She was on born on March 31, 1945 in Kingsport, TN, where she lived her entire life. She was a graduate of Ketron High School and worked as a medical technician for Frontier Health for many years. Linda was a loving mother to her surviving children Todd Collins of Winston-Salem NC, Maria Bennett and Husband Greg of Gray TN, and Joshua Hensley and wife Jennifer of Hiltons VA. Linda was preceded in death by her son Dale Shawn Collins in 2014. Linda has one sister Rowena Steadman and her husband Pat of Kingsport. Linda also has many cousins, nieces and nephews. Linda was also a doting grandmother to Summer, Destiny and Lily, and a great-grandmother to Hannah and Alanah. Linda was very close to her friend Raymond Carter, Glenda Domby, Jane Millsap, Marie Short and Kathy Proffit, whom she loved spending time with. Linda was a 40 plus year member of Buffalo Ridge Baptist Church in Gray TN, and enjoyed traveling and spending time with family and friends. Dr. Gene Lasley and Jody Jenkins with officiate services to be held Monday, August 1, 2016 from 4:30 - 7:00 pm at Buffalo Ridge Baptist Church with funeral services to begin at 7:00 pm. Graveside services will be Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at 11:00 am at East Tennessee Cemetery.
