Susie Pearl Boyce, 92, wife of John M. Boyce, Jr., passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2016, at her home. Born in St. Charles, SC, she was a daughter of the late Kannady Simpson Atkinson and the late Bannie Elizabeth Amerson Atkinson. She retired from Liggett Pharmacy. Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Kathryn Brady (Bill); a son, Samuel Bader (Esther); grandchildren, Ray Brady (Brandy), Karol Padgett (Mike), and Brian Bader (Ayako); five great-grandchildren; step-son, Johnny Boyce (Julie), Billy Boyce, and Glen Boyce; four step-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Belinda Sue Brady Siskey; and a grandson, Samuel R. Bader, Jr. Funeral services will be held at 3 P.M. Saturday in the Powers Funeral Home chapel, 832 Ridgeway Rd., Lugoff, SC. Burial will be in the Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, 845 Leeburg Rd., Columbia. The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 P.M. Saturday at Powers Funeral Home in Lugoff. The family would like to express their appreciation to Tri-County Hospice for their wonderful care.
