Lisha Mae Caughman, 86, died Thursday, September 29, 2016 at the Lexington Medical Center. Born in Richland County, she was a daughter of the late Louie Caughman and the late Dorothy Chavis Caughman Hooker. Lisha was a member of the Babcock Center family for many years. She enjoyed music, her dolls and always enjoyed receiving money. She loved her family, especially the children and babies along with her favorite nephew, Bubba. She is survived by a number of nieces and nephew. She was preceded in death by her sister, Doris Callahan. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in the Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Sammy Geddings officiating. The family would like to express their gratitude to Lou, Karen, Cassandra, Quen and other staff members of Babcock Center; and also the 7th floor staff at Lexington Medical Center, especially her nurse Ben, for the great care they provided.
