Heidi Harris

Heidi Danielle Harris, 43 died Friday, October 7, 2016, at Palmetto Health Tuomey. Born November 19, 1972, in Sumter, she was a daughter of Barbara Welch Harris and the late Zeb George Harris. She attended Bethel Baptist Church. She loved scrapbooking, singing, and spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include her mother of Sumter; three children, Michael Andrew Kirby (Jessica), Brian Keith Kirby, Jr. of Manning, Brooke Alexis Pheiffer of Sumter; five grandchildren, Paisley, Stephen, Zaylin, Tegan and Trayton Kirby; brothers, Allen Harris (Corie) and Robert Harris (Amy) all of Sumter; three sisters, Kandi Harris, Rebekah Bishop (Andrew), and Erika Foster (Christopher) all of Sumter; and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 3 P.M. Thursday in the Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Larry Frasier officiating. Burial will be in the Bethel Baptist Church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Allen Harris, Robert Harris, Brian Kirby, Jr., Michael Kirby, Andrew Bishop, Keith Lighthill, Christopher Foster, and Ian Sandifer. The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 P.M. Thursday at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and other times at the home, 3100 Avin Rd. Memorials may be made to the Bethel Baptist Church Youth Fund, 2401 Bethel Church Rd., Sumter, SC 29150. Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and Crematorium of Sumter is in charge of the arrangements.
