Antonio Cristina, 86, beloved husband of Lucia (Feraco) Cristina, of Westerly, passed away on Friday, June 03, 2016. Born in Tusa, Sicily, he was a son of the late Giuseppe and Vincenza (Alberti) Cristina. Antonio was employed as a Supervisor at Connecticut Casting for many years. He was a Veteran of the Italian military police force known as the Carabinieri. He was a devoted communicant of Immaculate Conception Church. In addition to his wife, he will be dearly missed by his four children, Rosemarie Cristina and her husband, Ainsworth Linton, of Chestnut Ridge, NY; Donnamarie Cristina and her husband, Joseph Medina, of Bayside, NY; Joanna Adams and her husband, Christopher Adams, of Westerly; and Anthony Joseph Cristina of Canterbury, CT. Antonio is also survived by five grandchildren, Tiffany M. Adams, Joshua D. Adams, Nicholas Antonio Medina, Joseph Colby Medina, and Marissa Lucia Cristina; one great-grandchild, David Adams; three brothers, Joseph Cristina, Orazio Cristina and Vincenzo Cristina; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Fanina (Cristina) Volpe. Visiting hours will be held on Monday from 5-7pm at Gaffney-Dolan Funeral Home, 59 Spruce St., Westerly. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Immaculate Conception Church, 111 High St., Westerly on Tuesday at 10am. There is no procession from the funeral home to church.
