Andrew Schroker

Andrew J. Schroker, a resident of Bedminster Twp, passed away on Friday, July 22, 2016 at the Rockhill Mennonite Community, Sellersville. He was 94. Andrew was the husband of Florence Schroker. Born in Franklin Park, NJ, Andrew was a son of the late Joseph Sroka and Anna Schroker. Andrew was proud to be a combat veteran with the US Army serving during WWII. Following his military service, he worked as a mechanic/supervisor employed by the US Government where he enjoyed working on heavy military equipment. Andrew was a member of the VFW, enjoyed gardening in his free time and was a parishioner of St. John the Baptist Church. In addition to his wife, Andrew is survived by a son Andrew and his wife Terry and a daughter Florence Raup and her husband Jim. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren, Andrew, Natalie and James and a sister Caroline Schultz. Andrew’s funeral service will be 11:00 am, Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at the Shelly Funeral Home, Easton and Keller’s Church Roads, Plumsteadville where the family will receive friends 6-8:00 pm Tuesday and 10:00 am until the time of service on Wednesday. Interment will follow in St. John the Baptist Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090 or on their website at www.alz.org.
