Harvey S. Zimmerman, 83, of 306 Linden St., East Earl, died after a brief illness on Sunday, April 14, 2013 at the home of one of the children.
Born in East Earl Twp., he was the son of the late Abram and Lizzie (Shirk) Zimmerman. He was the husband of Ella (Reiff) Zimmerman who died on October 23, 2012.
Harvey worked at Weaverland Produce Auction after he retired from farming.
He was a member of the Weaverland Mennonite Church, Groffdale Conference.

(Hoover) Zimmerman of Owen, WI, Harvey R., married to Arlene (Shirk) Zimmerman of Narvon, Melvin R., married to Katie L. (Zimmerman) Zimmerman of Narvon, Norman R., married to Vera R. (Oberholtzer) Zimmerman of Shippensburg, Edwin R., married to Ellen (Martin) Zimmerman of Penn Yan, NY, Mary R., married to David M. Shirk of East Earl, John R., married to Nancy E. (Shirk) Zimmerman of Narvon, Reuben R., married to Marion N. (Sensenig) Zimmerman of Penn Yan, NY, Raymond R., married to Etta L. (Zimmerman) Zimmerman of Penn Yan, NY, Paul R., married to Wilma N. (Reiff) Zimmerman of Newville, Mabel R. married to Raymond H. Zimmerman of Leola, David R., married to Edna M. (Zimmerman) Zimmerman of East Earl, and Ella R., married to Curvin N. Sensenig of Penn Yan, NY; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; and a brother, Joseph Zimmerman of Ephrata.
Preceding her in death are five sisters, Lydia Horst, Lena Sauder, Lizzie Hoover, Mary Anna Hoover, and Mabel Oberholtzer; and four brothers, Weaver, Aaron, John, and an infant, Abram, Jr.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 19 at 9 am at the late home with further services at 9:30 am at the Weaverland Old Order Mennonite Church with the Bishop Titus Martin officiating. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery. Viewing will be at the late home on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. Kindly omit flowers. Arrangements by Eckenroth Home for Funerals, Terre Hill.
