Gerald J. "Jerry" Brennan, of Upper Southampton, died on Sunday, May 25, 2014. Jerry was the son of the late Helen (nee Donahue) and Donald Brennan. He is survived by his; beloved wife, of 46 years, Patricia (nee Rapp), daughter & caregiver, Colleen Baniewicz (late Anthony), son, Christopher (Jennifer), grandsons, Cade & Nolan Brennan, Anthony, Andrew & Connor Baniewicz, sister, Kathryn Ruhl (Jack), sisters-in-law, Betty Kelly (late James) & Jeri Onraet (Bob), and many nieces & nephews. Jerry is preceded in death by his sisters Sheila Bennett & Donna Smith. Jerry proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps. When his children were growing up, Jerry spent many hours coaching baseball & basketball at the Southampton Youth Center and for Our Lady of Good Counsel C.Y.O. teams. Jerry was a member of the Local #126 for many years and a lineman for Amtrak. Jerry's family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday, June 1, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., and again on Monday, June 2, from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m., at the James J. McGhee Funeral Home, 690 Belmont Ave. Southampton, PA. A memorial service will be held on Monday at 10:00 a.m., also at McGhee Funeral Home.
