Edwin H. Smith, III, 45, of Philipsburg, passed away on Friday, February 12, 2016 at his home in Philipsburg. He was the husband of Lori (Golightley) Smith. Edwin was born August 13, 1970 in York and was the son of Edwin H. Smith, Jr and his companion Brenda and the late Teresa (Staley) Smith He was employed as a charter bus driver. He enjoyed the Pittsburgh Steelers, fishing, hunting, flea markets, his animals and talking to anybody he came in contact with. Edwin was a kind person who would have given the shirt off his back. In addition to his father, Edwin is survived by his son, Andrew Golightley, of Clearfield; his daughter, Brittany Golightley of Clearfield; aunts, uncles and cousins. A celebration of life service will begin at 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 26, 2016 at the Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Mount Wolf. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be private. Officiating at the service will be Pastor Dave Miller.
