Wilbur Kelso

Wilbur T. Kelso, Jr., 65, of Orrstown, departed this life on the evening of Wednesday, July 6, 2016, at the Chambersburg Hospital. He was born on August 3, 1950, in Chambersburg, a son of the late Wilbur T. and Mary M. Helm Kelso, Sr. Wilbur worked as a laborer in the construction industry. He was a social member of the Durff-Kuhn V.F.W. Post #6168, Shippensburg and always enjoyed watching wrestling on television. He is survived by one daughter, Crystal Shields of Shippensburg; two grandchildren, Caitlyn and Hunter Shields of Shippensburg; eight siblings, Donald (Marsha) Kelso of Greencastle, Delores Stouffer of Shippensburg, Mary Rotz of Greencastle, Gary (Connie) Kelso of South Carolina, Wanda (John) Dunlap of Orrstown, Phyllis “Pat” (Don) Adkins of Orrstown, Sharon (Gary) Baer of Newburg, and Brian (Jane) Kelso of Newburg; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Wilbur was preceded in death by three sisters, Marinda Mathna, Barb Cooper, and Tanya Kelso; and two brothers, Mike and James Kelso. His funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 10, 2016 at the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc., Shippensburg. The Rev. James O. Bolich will officiate. Interment will be private. Viewing will be one hour prior to the service on Sunday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association.
