Pauline V. “Dottie” Hamilton, 87, of Mainsville Road, Shippensburg, died Monday, July 18, 2016 at her home. Born Sunday, June 9, 1929 in Southampton Township, Franklin County, she was a daughter of the late Edward L. and Adeline M. Shirley Adams. Pauline worked as a Carpenter for the former Affiliated Industries with 24 years of service. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, crocheting, quilting, and loved flowers. She also loved watching “Walker Texas Ranger” and movies which Chuck Norris played in. She is survived by two sons; Raymond “Roger” (Patricia) Adams, and Wayne E. “Robin” Hamilton, three daughters, Linda K. Bechtel, Lana L. Hamilton, and Brenda L. Cressler, one brother, Robert Lee Edward Adams, all of Shippensburg, 12 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 14 step grandchildren, and five step great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Andrew Hamilton, son, Gregory A. Adams, Sr., grandson, Gregory A. Adams, Jr., granddaughter, Michelle R. Adams, and sister, Elizabeth B. Mellott. Funeral services will be held Friday, July 22, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium with the Rev. Luke Holtry officiating. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service in the funeral home.
