Ronnie Rainier

Ronnie Rainier, Sr., 68 of Pennsburg, died on Wednesday, August 3, 2016. Born in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late Albert Rainier and Elisa (Posey) Rainier. He was the husband of the late Dorothy (Bryan) Rainier. He worked for Pillsbury until retirement. He served honorably in the Army during the Vietnam War. He was member of the VFW of Red Hill and the American Legion in Palm. Surviving are sons: Ronnie Rainier, Jr. of Reading and Robert Rainier, and his fiance Dawn Snyder of Pennsburg, daughters: Dorothy Helen Rainier of Goose Creek, SC, Michelle Lea Rainier-Smalls, and her husband Isaac Smalls of North Charleston, SC and Monique, Fiance of Ramon Dejesus-Lapinski of Pennsburg, grandchildren: Kayla, Samantha, Desiree, James, Damian, Robert Jr., Austin, Ramon Jr., and Skylar, great grandchildren: Riley, Savannah, Mariyah, Jeyce, Hayden and Raymond; a sister, Elizabeth, wife of David Stuart of Bensalem, He was predeceased by a brother, William Rainier. He will be interred privately at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. Contributions may be made in his honor to The Redhill VFW Post # 5954, 401 Main St. Redhill, PA 18076; and the American Legion Post # 184, 744 Gravel Pike East Greenville, PA 18014.
