George Ehnot

George J. Ehnot, 57, of Green Lane, died September 27, 2016. He was the beloved husband of Jane (Carter) Ehnot. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Joseph L. and Virginia (Lantell) Ehnot. George was a member of Friedens United Church of Christ, Sumneytown, the Green Lane Fire House, the VFW Post 5954, the Green Lane Ambulance and Isaac Smith Park. He enjoyed cooking, barbecuing and being outdoors. Along with his wife, he is survived by his sister, Jeanne Ehnot Ruth (Frank), nieces: Amanda and Joelle Ruth, Abbey and Kallie Carter, a nephew: Jason Carter and a great nephew Eric Jordan Ruth. George was predeceased by a sister, Joanne Ehnot. Services will be Tuesday, October 4, 2016, 11am, at the Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, 163 Main St., Pennsburg, PA 18073. All are welcome to gather at 10am. Interment will follow at Friedens Union Cemetery. Contributions may be made in his honor to the Isaac Smith Park Committee, PO Box 514, Green Lane, PA 18054 or the Green Lane Fire House, 214 Main St, Green Lane, PA 18054.
