Sara Weller

Sara R. Weller, 86, of New Holland, formerly of Boot Jack Rd., Narvon, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Saturday, July 30, 2016. She was precede in death by her husband, Percy J. Weller, in 2010. Born in Caernarvon Twp., she was the daughter of the late I. Hoyer and Minnie E. (Zeimer) Spotts. She was a member for over 60 years at Churchtown United Methodist Church. She was also a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Samuel Fear Chapter 417, Honey Brook and was a life member of Caernarvon Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary. Surviving is a sister, Barbara Hartranft, Morgantown. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by seven siblings: Hannah Oatman, Evelyn Oatman, Mary Reifsnyder, Julia Haas, George Spotts, John Spotts, and Elmer Spotts. Her funeral will be held on Friday, August 5, 2016 at 10 a.m. at Beck Funeral Home, 315 E. Main St., New Holland with Rev. Edward Goodly officiating. Interment will be in the United Methodist Cemetery of Churchtown. A viewing will be held at Beck’s on Thursday from 6 – 8 p. m, and on Friday from 9 – 10 a.m. Kindly omit flowers.
