Rickie L. Rictor Obituary

Rickie L. Rictor, 70, of New Wilmington, PA, passed away the afternoon of September 11, 2016 at his residence. Born on May 23, 1946 in New Castle, he was the son of the late Lee R. Sr. and Helen M. Dean Rictor.


Rickie retired as a machinist in the clothing industry, having worked for Richman Bros. in Cleveland, OH. He also served his country as a member of the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era from 1964 to 1971. Rickie was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys and Elvis Presley. An easy going, selfless, and loving man, he will always be remembered as a fantastic father, brother, and grandfather.


Rickie is survived by his children, Amy Hayes and husband Michael, Jill Wooster, and Lisa Marie Rictor, all of Cleveland, OH; sisters, Joyce Offredo of New Wilmington, PA, Tonya Palkovich-Rictoros of Beaver Falls, PA, and Judith McKee of New Wilmington, PA; grandchildren, David, Alyssa, and Lance Wooster; and dogs, Lola and Misty. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Linda Monico and Joy-Lee Graham, and brothers, Richard Olson and Lee R. Rictor Jr.


Visitation will be held Thursday from 1:00pm to 3:00pm at Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory 3000 Wilmington Rd. Services will be conducted Thursday at 3:00pm at the funeral home, officiated by Reverend Dennis Bupp.


Interment will take place at Oak Park Cemetery.
