<p>Former New Castle resident Marilyn J. Hall-Sankey, 67, of Ruskin, FL, passed away the evening of May 9, 2016 in Hillsville following a brief illness. Born on July 9, 1948 in New Castle, she was a daughter of the late John Sr. and Evelyn Stickle Hall. Surviving is her beloved husband of over 25 wonderful years, Dale E. Sankey, whom she married on November 17, 1990. </p><p><br></p><p>Marilyn retired from Universal Rundle after 31 years of working. She enjoyed cooking and baking and loved to travel. </p><p><br></p><p>In addition to her husband, Marilyn is survived by her stepchildren, Eugene Sankey of Hillsville, PA, David Sankey and wife Anna of New Castle, and Norma Donofrio and husband John of New Castle; sister, Betty Maravella of West Pittsburgh, PA; seven step-grandchildren; one step-great-grandchild; and her nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepson, Dominick Sankey; sister, Shirley Shropshire; and brothers, John Jr., Robert, and Ronald Hall. </p><p><br></p><p>Honoring her wishes, there are no calling hours or services. </p><p><br></p><p>The family would like to give special thanks to Brit Smith for all of her loving care extended to Marilyn during her illness. </p>
