Lucille M. Ramunno Obituary

Lucille M. Ramunno, 88, of Neshannock Township, passed away the evening of June 26, 2016 at UPMC Jameson. Born on October 26, 1927in New Castle, she was a daughter of the late Mark and Helen DeLisio Ramunno.


After 44 years of working, Lucille retired as the Office Manager of GNC Federal Credit Union. She was also a longtime member and treasurer of the Board of Directors and served on the Credit Committee for GNC Federal Credit Union. She was a member of St. Camillus Church and belonged to the Ladies Guild. Lucille also had previously served as a treasurer for the Catholic Daughters of the Americas and the Lawrence County Bowling League.


Lucille is survived by her sister, Eleanor Pappas and husband John of New Castle; nieces and nephews, Mark Pappas of New Castle, John Pappas and wife Katie of Cranberry Township, PA, Lauren Van Den Bosch and husband Robert of Troy, OH; five great-nieces and nephews, Helen Pappas, Gannon Pappas, Graham Pappas, Shelby Van Den Bosch, and Jack Van Den Bosch. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Robert, Edward, and Richard Ramunno.


Visitation will be held Friday from 9:30am to 10:30am at Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory 3000 Wilmington Rd. A procession will leave the funeral home Friday at 10:30am to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am at St. Camillus Church, officiated by Very Reverend Lawrence DiNardo.


Entombment will take place at Castleview Mausoleum.
