Frank R. Pisciuneri Obituary

Frank R. Pisciuneri Jr., 83, of New Castle, passed away the morning of September 16, 2016 at his residence. Born on March 30, 1933 in Hillsville, PA, he was the son of the late Frank Sr. and Frances Spagnola Pisciuneri. Surviving at home is his beloved wife of 60 years, the former Anna Mae Tuminello, whom he married on August 25, 1956.

After more than 25 years of working, Frank retired from the coupling department for Youngstown Sheet and Tube. He also was a self-employed barber. Frank had served his country as a member of the U.S. Army from 1953 to 1955. He was a member of St. Vitus Church, and he enjoyed visiting casinos, travelling to Florida and California, and walking and sitting outside. Frank also loved being with his Coffee Club at Dunkin Donuts with his lifelong friend, Angelo Pezzuolo. His greatest joy came from being with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, Frank is survived by his children, Diana Steines and her husband Dr. William of New Castle, Lisa DePorzio and husband Ron of New Castle, Francine Costello and husband Richard Jr. of Port St. Lucie, FL, and Frank Pisciuneri III and wife Annie of Sunnyvale, CA; brothers, Ralph Pisciuneri and wife Joanne and Ducky Pisciuneri and wife Kathy, all of New Castle; sister, Geri Leskovar and husband Jack of Youngstown, OH; grandchildren, Ashley Steines, Ryan DePorzio, Nicole Beiser and husband Erik, Ricky Costello, Danielle Costello, and Alex Pisciuneri; and great-grandchildren, Christopher Pagley and Brody Beiser. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his infant brother, Carmen.

Visitation will be held Sunday from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory 3000 Wilmington Rd. Blessing services will be conducted Monday at 11:00am at the funeral home, officiated by Father Joseph Codori of St. Vitus Church.
