David J. Davis, 73, of Shenango Township, passed away June 29, 2016 at Ellwood City Hospital.

Born on April 13, 1943 in Irwin, PA to the late Russell and Florence Davis, Dave is survived by his wife of 50 years, G. Marie (Brubaker) Davis; his daughters, Denise Davis and Kathy (Jeff) Gierlach of New Castle; his grandsons, Damon Gierlach of New Castle and Mike (fiancé, Nikki Matthews) Gierlach of Atlanta, GA; great-granddaughter, Adara Gierlach; and his brothers, Bob and Joe.

In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by two brothers and six sisters.

David was a diesel mechanic for 38 years and enjoyed playing pool, fishing, and watching old westerns.

In accordance with his wishes, there will be no calling hours or funeral services.
