Of Pittsburgh, died on Wednesday, October 12, 2016. Born in Melville, LA on January 3, 1924, she was the daughter of the late George Tolson and Lorena Loumiet Jones. Rita was a veteran of World War II who served in the Army as well as a member of the Ladies Auxiliary Club. She was a full-time mother and laid a strong foundation for each of her seven children on which to build their lives. She was an avid gardener of flowers, a voracious reader, and a wonderful cook. Devoted Wife of the late George Edward Legler; Loving mother of Lorraine (Rich) Forster, Georgeann (James) Talerico, Michael Legler, Patricia Cleaver, Mark (Babette) Legler, Michele Legler and Gloria (Anthony) Rowsick; Proud Grandmother of 12; Proud Great-Grandmother of 11; Sister of Jess Jones of AL, Gene Jones of LA, Joan Michael of TX, and the late George Tolson Jones, Jr. and Lorraine Fairchild; also survived by sisters-in-law, a brother-in-law, and numerous nieces and nephews.
