Richard J. Bellisario

Age 67, of Brookline, on Saturday, September 10, 2016. Beloved Husband of 44 years to Cathy (McMullen) Bellisario; Loving Father of Brian (Sara) Bellisario and Michelle (Bill) Regas; Cherished Son of Alicia and the late Attilio Bellisario; Son-in-Law of the late Thomas and Catherine McMullen; Devoted Pap Pap of Jonathan, Hannah, Addison, Delaney, and Emery; Dear Brother of Ronald, Roland, and the late Robert Bellisario; Special Brother-in-Law of Thomas (Mary), William (Cheryl), and Michael (Mary Anne) McMullen, Linda Bellisario, and the late JoAnn Bellisario; also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Richard was a proud veteran of the Navy and the Army. In 2013, he retired from the City of Pittsburgh Planning Department after 37 years of service. Funeral arrangements by BEINHAUERS, 412-531-4000. Friends are welcome at 2630 West Liberty Avenue, Dormont on Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. and Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday at 10 a.m. in the Church of the Resurrection. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Angelman Foundation (https://www.angelman.org/) or the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (https://www.lls.org/western-pennsylvania-west-virginia).
