James Francis O'Leary

Of Pleasant Hills, on Wednesday, August 10, 2016 after 95 years well-spent. Devoted Husband and Friend of 66 years to Catherine (O’Toole) O’Leary; Loving Father and Father-in-Law who provided unconditional love to his three children and their spouses: James (Melissa) O’Leary, Joan (Jeff) Rhoads, and Maureen (Michael) Gardonis; Cherished Grandfather to Michael, Kelly, Justin, and Lauren; Brother of the late Geraldine Sullivan, the late Joseph O’Leary, and RoseMary O’Leary; Son of the late Sara and Joseph O’Leary; Special Uncle to his nieces and nephews. He was a lifetime member of the National Association of Letter Carriers, Branch 84 and a proud veteran of World War II. Jim will be remembered for his chivalry, his gentle disposition, and his unwavering kindness to all who had the honor of knowing him. ARRANGEMENTS BY BEINHAUERS, 412-531-4000. Friends are welcome at 2630 West Liberty Avenue, Pittsburgh, 15216 on Saturday from 6-8 p.m. and Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Pius X Church on Monday at 10 a.m. Interment will be in Queen of Heaven Cemetery. The family wishes to thank ManorCare of Whitehall for their kind and compassionate care.
