Suzie Witherell

KANE Suzie Witherell, 43, of 47 Pond St., East Kane, died Monday afternoon at her residence. She was born May 5, 1972 in Bradford, the daughter of Dawn Salter and the late Benny Salter. On Sept. 16, 1995 in Kane, she married Dan Witherell who survives. Suzie graduated from Kane High School and then went on to graduate from Misericordia College with a degree in Occupational Therapy. She worked for several years and at several places as an occupational therapist. She was a member of the Wilcox Sportsman Club and the Open Arms Church in Bradford and she also was a certified massage therapist. In addition to her husband she is survived by two daughters at home, MacKenzie and Morgan Witherell; her mother Dawn Salter of Port Allegany; one brother, Michael (Anette) Salter of Philipsburg; two nephews, Bennett and Braeden Salter of Philipsburg; her mother-in-law Betty Witherell of Kane; one sister-in-law, Ellen (Kenneth) Bush of Kane and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, her grandparents and her father-in-law, Willard "Bill" Witherell. The family will be receiving friends on Friday from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. at Cummings Funeral Home. A memorial service will immediately follow at 2:00 with the Rev. Nancy Page officiating. A fellowship luncheon will then be provided at the United Methodist Church in Kane Memorial donations can be mailed to Cummings Funeral Home 151 Greeves St. Kane, PA 16735 to help with her daughters future college expenses.
