Kane Rebecca Edmiston, 48, of Kane, PA., died Friday afternoon, April 8, 2016. Rebecca was born in Warren, PA. to the late Emory Elton Edmiston and Marian Boughton Edmiston of Sheffield, PA. She has been a longtime Kane area resident and a 1985 graduate of Smethport High School. Rebecca was employed with Helpmates, Inc. and First Federal Bank both of Kane, PA. She was a member of the Kane congregation of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She loved tigers, was in touch with nature and her family. In addition to her mother, she is survived by 3 Brothers – Jody Edmiston and wife, Lana of Somerset, PA., Brion Edmiston and wife, April of Naples, N.Y., Matt E. Edmiston of Sheffield, PA., several aunts, uncles and cousins. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her twin stillborn sister. A Memorial Service will be conducted on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at 11:30 at the Warren Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Interment was in Cherry Grove Cemetery, Cherry Grove Twp., Clarendon, PA. The Cummings Funeral Home, Inc. has been entrusted with funeral arrangements.
