Joseph L. Haulik KANE Joseph Leroy Haulik, 81, of Kane, and previously of Lady Lake, FL and Macon, GA, passed away Saturday (March 19, 2016) in Macon after an extended illness. Mr. Haulik was born September 18, 1934, in James City. He spent most of his life in Kane before he and his wife, Pat, became "snowbirds" to Lady Lake, FL and then moved to Macon, GA two years ago to be near family. Joe retired as plant supervisor for Stackpole Magnet Division after 42 years of service. He was a member of St. Callistus Roman Catholic Church where he served as a Eucharist Minister. He also served in the Army National Guard Reserves. Joe was an avid golfer and loved his Wednesday cards and golf with his best friends in Kane. He served as president of the Kane Country Club for several years. He was a hunter and had many stories to share with his family and friends. Joe loved sports but especially Penn State football. Joe's memory will forever be cherished by Patricia Haulik, his loving wife of 60 years, his two sons, Joseph Mitchell Haulik (Brenda) and Thomas Jeffery Haulik (Cindy); his grandchildren, Jennifer Stanfield, Larry Freeman, Amy Stone and Sara Hartanov. He was loved and adored as "Papa Joe" by his five great-grandchildren, Carter Freeman, Sarah Freeman, Emma Grace Stanfield, Julianne Stone and Nolan Stone. He is also survived by his brother, Wallace Haulik (Virginia); an aunt, Mary Haulik; and numerous friends and relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe Haulik and Marie Payne Haulik of James City. Mr. Haulik will be buried in his beloved hometown of Kane. Services, when finalized, will be announced by the Cummings Funeral Home, Inc. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to St. Callistus Roman Catholic Church, 342 Chase St., Kane, PA 16735.
