James E. Espin KANE James E. "Beef" Espin, 68, of 130 Greeves Street, passed away Saturday (September 10, 2016) at Golden Living Center-Kinzua in Warren. Born May 2, 1948, in Kane, he was a son of the late Eugene and Dorothy Johnson Espin. Jim worked as an insurance salesman for the majority of his working life and also had been employed at Kane Handle. He was a member of both the Kane Elks Club and the Warren Elks Club and was very active in the men's softball league for many years . He also was an avid golfer. Surviving are a daughter, Mary Espin of Kane; a brother, Steve Espin of Bradford; his former wife, Sharon Moore of Kane; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death, in addition to his parents, by his long-time companion, Mary Ann Pickering. Friends will be received Tuesday from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 7:00 to 9:00 pm at the Cummings Funeral Home, Inc. where funeral services will be held 11:00 am Wednesday. Donations may be made to a charity of the donor's choice. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery at a future date. Online condolences can be expressed at www.cummingsfh.com
