Leonard D. Hook Obituary

Leonard D. Hook, 57, of Harrisburg, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, June 3, 2016, at his home.
Born in Berwick on September 23, 1958, he was the son of Genevieve Galkowski Hook of Berwick, and the late Harold Hook.
He attended the Evangelical Free Church of Hershey. Len accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior, and his spirituality was most important to him. Len enjoyed hunting, fishing, spending time in the mountains, and gardening. Most of all, Len loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. Len was a self-taught Network Engineer with the Federal Government, where his work ethic was only overshadowed by his love of God and his family.
In addition to his mother, Len is survived by two sons, Daniel J. Hook husband of Amy of Coopersburg, and Derek D. Hook husband of Lidya of Mechanicsburg; three grandchildren, Austin Hook, Lyla Hook, and Levi Hook all of Coopersburg; one sister, Lorie F. Abbott wife of John J. of Middletown; two brothers, Jeffrey E. Hook of Maytown, and Larry E. Hook of Berwick; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, June 8, 2016, at 7 PM in the Trefz & Bowser Funeral Home, Inc., 114 West Main Street, Hummelstown, with The Rev. David Hyatt, officiating. Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the family at the funeral home on Wednesday from 6 PM until time of the service.
