Susan Ruff Szentlaszloi

SUSAN (RUFF) SZENTLASZLOI, age 77 years of Quakertown, PA died on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 in her home surrounded by her family. Formerly of West Chester, PA, Susan was a daughter of H. Weldon and Henrietta (Rush) Ruff of Delta, PA. Susan was a graduate of Kennard Dale High School, received her Bachelors degree from Millersville State Teachers College and was awarded her Masters degree from West Chester University. She was a dedicated teacher, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. A teacher for over 30 years, she retired from West Chester Area School District in 2000. Susan along with her beloved dog, Sweetie Pie, volunteered at ‘Paws with Patience’ helping children become better readers along with visiting nursing homes. Susan is survived by: 3 children- Leslie Szentlaszloi Stephen Szentlaszloi Christine Murray 2 grandchildren- Alexander Murray Samuel Murray 1 brother- David Ruff She is preceded by: 2 siblings- Bill Ruff Carole Ruff Merkel Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 27, 2016 from 10 – 11:00 a.m. at Bryansville United Methodist Church, 2325 Bryansville Rd., Delta, PA 17314 where a Memorial Service will begin at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Paws with Patience, PO Box 464, Richlandtown, PA 18955.
