BILLY JAMES POOLE, 67 years of Fawn Grove, PA, died on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 in Upper Chesapeake Medical Center, Bel Air, MD. Born on February 12, 1949 in Darlington, MD, he was a son of Ruby Sally (Wagoner) Poole of Darlington, MD and the late Thomas Odell Poole. Prior to returning home to the Darlington area, Billy had spent most of his lifetime residing near Pittsburgh, PA and had worked as an independent truck driver. He enjoyed welding, fishing and attending auctions. In addition to his mother, he is survived by: Three children- Donna Manahan of Fawn Grove, PA Michelle Ellis and her husband, Kenneth, of Forest Hill, MD Matthew Markowski and his wife, April of Bel Air, MD Siblings- Allen Poole of Darlington, MD Ruth Holmes of Whiteford, MD Seven grandchildren-David Manahan, Chelsey Cochran, Amanda Thwaites, Rebecca Manahan, Evan Markowski, Cole Markowski and Luke Markowski A great grandson, Nathan Thwaites His former wife, Louise Poole of Fawn Grove, PA He was preceded in death by his brother, Frank Poole and foster brother, Billy Miller. A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 4, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Bel Air Church of the Nazarene, 2430 Conowingo Road, Bel Air, MD 21015. Associate Pastor Noah Tharpe will officiate. In lieu of flowers, his family would appreciate memorial contributions to the church at the above address.Obituary
