Ronald Davis

Ronald Leroy Davis, Jr., 68, of Fayetteville, PA, passed away unexpectedly Saturday morning, August 13, 2016 at his home. Born May 12, 1948 in Cumberland, MD, he was a son of Ronald Leroy Davis, Sr. and the late LaVada E.R. Ganoe Davis. Ronald was a 1967 graduate of the Fort Hill High School and retired from Hanover Foods where he was employed as a mechanic. He was a member of the Cross Keys Fellowship Church and the Gettysburg Moose Lodge. In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife, Cindy L. Norris Davis, whom he married July 30, 1997; two sons, Ronald Leroy Davis, III and wife Ashley of Vancouver, WA and Jeffrey Scott Davis and wife Connie of New Providence, PA; his step-daughter, Tracey Nailor and husband Tim of New Oxford, PA; his step-son, David Baumgardner and wife Leighanne of Lewisberry, PA; and eleven grandchildren, Megan, Tyler, and Dylan Davis, Shannon Martin, Haley Davis, Ashlyn, Delaney, and Brady Nailor, Jordan, Jada, and Justice Baumgardner. He is also survived by two brothers, James Ganoe and wife Virginia of Wiley Ford, WV and Tommy Davis and wife Wilma of Ridgeley, WV; three sisters, Linda Brode of Myrtle Beach, SC, Susie Clawson and husband Mark of Clearfied, UT, and Karen Krogel of Cumberland, MD; three step-sisters, Kim, Krista, and Melissa; a half-sister; and a number of nieces and nephews who loved him dearly. A memorial service to celebrate Ronald’s life will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, August 20, 2016 at Cross Keys Fellowship Church, 785 Berlin Road, New Oxford, PA, 17350.
