Peter K. Hallock, Sr., 75, of Marion, PA, passed away Sunday evening, September 25, 2016 at his home surrounded by his family. Born February 21, 1941 in Islip, NY, he was the only child of Kittridge and Dorothy Appel Hallock. Mr. Hallock graduated from Penn State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Forestry. He had a great love of the outdoors and spent the majority of his life working in the logging business as owner and operator of Hallock Forestry Products. His wife, Donalee Ann Diffenderfer Hallock, whom he married December 28, 1963, preceded him in death on July 1, 2014. He is survived by two children, Peter K. Hallock, Jr. and wife Je’anne Kemp of New Orleans, LA and Amanda Abercrombie and husband Brian A. of Chambersburg; four grandchildren, Amy, Robert Tyler, Tyler James, and Jeremy; and four great-grandchildren, Aubrey, Owen, Mackenna, and Elias. The family will receive friends from 9:00-10:30 AM Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA.
