John Forster

John Montgomery Forster IV, of Fayetteville, PA passed away at the Village of Laurel Run on Tuesday, July 19, 2016. Born May 26, 1926, in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late John Montgomery III and Gladys Margarite Forster. A U.S. Army veteran, Mr. Forster served honorably during WWII. He was a graduate of William and Mary college. He went on to teach for a number of years. Surviving are six children, George List Forster (wife Angela) of Greencastle, PA, John Dunlap Forster (wife Jamie) of Virginia Beach, VA, Robert Elder Forster III (husband Jeffery Mark Pasake) of Newport News, VA, Bergliot M. Forster of Bridgeton, ME, Allete J. Mahler of Los Altos Hills, CA, and Heidi Jo Cochran of Visalia, CA; four grandchildren; and one brother, Robert Elder Forster II of Villanova, PA. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn D. Forster in 2006. Services and interment will be private. Arrangements are entrusted to the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Chambersburg, PA.
