Ada E. Abbruzzi, 88, of Saylorsburg died Saturday, August 27 in the Brookmont Health Care Center, Effort. She was the wife of the late Patrick R. Abbruzzi. Born in Staten Island, NY she was a daughter of the late Clarence C. and Estelle (Van Buren) Lisk. She was of the Presbyterian faith. Ada was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She was a great animal lover and was described as "the kindest person you would ever want to meet". She was a caretaker to everyone. Ada is survived by three children, Patricia Abbruzzi-Tyahla and her husband John of Summit Hill, Peter Abbruzzi in Kentucky and Pamela Storm of Saylorsburg; six grandchildren and one great granddaughter. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 PM on Friday September 2 from the Kresge Funeral Home, 1763 Route 209 Brodheadsville with Pastor Timothy Slutter officiating.
