Wetzler Supervisor 814-355-4261 ROSEANN THAL DECEMBER 23, 1932 - AUGUST 17, 2016 Roseann Thal, 83, of Bellefonte, passed away Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at Centre Crest Nursing Home. Roseann was born on December 23, 1932, in Bellefonte, she was the daughter of the late Carl W. and Helen A. (Hartman) Johnson. On March 7, 1951, she married Lawrence E. ‘Sonny’ Thal, Jr., who preceded her in death on December 5, 2008. She was a 1950 graduate of Bellefonte High School. Roseann was a secretary for Titan Metal, National Gypsum, and Herbert R. Imbt. and was a staff assistant with College of Earth and Mineral Science at Penn State University for 28 years. Roseann and her husband Lawrence owned and operated Thal’s Ceramics from their home for many years. She is survived by three sons; Thomas Edward Thal (Susie), Michael James Thal (Karen), Gregory John Thal (Tammy) all of Bellefonte, five grandchildren; Michelle Thal, Bradley Thal, Joshua Thal (Kendra), Bryan Thal (Kayla), Erin Thal and one great grandson, Holden Thal. Also surviving is one sister, Vickie Dunklebarger, of Fort Walton Beach, FL. There will be a public visitation held on Sunday, August 21, 2016 from 1:00pm until 3:00pm, at Wetzler Funeral Service, Inc., 206 N. Spring Street Bellefonte. Funeral services will immediately follow visitation at 3:00pm, at the funeral home with Pastor Christopher Passante officiating. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family at Centre County Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church at 128 W.
